With more than 40 years of real estate experience and thousands of successful transactions, I bring a level of knowledge, negotiation skill, and market expertise that few agents can match. For more than 25 years, I have consistently ranked among the top 5% of REALTORS® in the Salt Lake Board of REALTORS®, helping buyers, sellers, investors, developers, and retirees navigate some of the most important financial decisions of their lives.

Over the course of my career, I have sold thousands of homes, condominiums, land parcels, income properties, and small commercial buildings throughout Utah. From historic Victorian homes and Mid-Century Modern architecture to new construction developments, investment properties, and luxury residences, I have built a reputation for delivering results while providing clients with expert guidance, strategic marketing, and strong negotiation.

My credentials include CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist), LTG, and DREI (Distinguished Real Estate Instructor), along with degrees in Behavioral Sciences, English, and Business Communications. While the designations may not mean much outside the real estate industry, they represent decades of advanced education, leadership, and a commitment to continually improving my craft. More importantly, they reflect a career dedicated to helping clients succeed.

In addition to serving clients, I have been recognized nationally as a real estate educator and industry leader. I served five years as a Director for the Salt Lake Board of REALTORS® and have taught REALTORS® across the country as a featured instructor for the National Association of REALTORS®. The Distinguished Real Estate Instructor designation is one of the highest honors awarded by the Real Estate Educators Association and recognizes excellence in teaching and leadership within the profession.

My expertise extends beyond traditional residential sales. I have worked extensively with local developers, helping market and sell townhome and infill development projects throughout the Salt Lake Valley. I have provided input on floor plans, buyer trends, green building practices, and neighborhood development strategies. My brokerage was the first green-certified real estate company in Salt Lake City, long before sustainability became a mainstream industry focus.

As a longtime Salt Lake City resident and advocate for thoughtful growth, I bring clients a deep understanding of neighborhoods, zoning, development trends, transportation, and community planning. I served eight years on the Salt Lake City Planning Commission, including as Chair, and currently serve as a Historic Landmarks Commissioner. These experiences provide unique insight into how communities evolve and how property values are influenced by planning and development decisions.

Many clients know me as Utah’s “historic homes expert.” I have represented some of the region’s most notable historic properties and enjoy researching the stories behind the homes I sell. Whether it’s a Victorian mansion, a century-old bungalow, a Mid-Century Modern masterpiece, or a newly built home in a growing community, I appreciate quality craftsmanship and understand how to position unique properties in the marketplace.

Today, I serve clients throughout the Wasatch Front, from Ogden to Provo, as well as Park City, Summit County, Tooele County, and Southern Utah. As market conditions change, my focus remains the same: protecting my clients’ interests, creating winning strategies, and helping them make confident real estate decisions.

Most importantly, I believe the process should be enjoyable. Real estate can be serious business, but if we’re not having some fun along the way, I’m probably not the broker for you.

I’m glad to sit down with you at the property or a place of your choice (attorney’s office, hotel lobby, another home) to listen to your needs and make a plan with you for a month or six months down the road. I am always here to help and I want to make sure you understand I’m not out to ‘get the listing and run’. I have the patience of Job and can handle pretty much any time frame or personal family dynamics laid out before me. I’m also high tech enough to electronically send you documents via email for digital signatures which don’t require any print outs or overnight mail, and low tech enough to sit with you and go page by page through a pictorial binder I’ve created to address all the areas of the potential sale.
